Where we are
The ocean front Inn, and Stephens Bay, are located in the quiet little fishing village of Coal Harbour, on northern Vancouver Island, a 12 minute drive from Port Hardy, B.C. and a 15 minute drive from the BC Ferry terminal to Bella Coola and Prince Rupert. Visit the nearby San Josef Bay which has recently been named the #1 beach in Canada, #36 in the world and #32 in North America (only one of 2 beaches in Canada - the other in Ontario). We're on the way to San Jo Bay and, as well, you can visit beautiful scenic destinations in the area and the nearby villages of Port Alice, Port McNeill, Sointula and Alert Bay.
Coal Harbour is also the home of Primrose Squarp, the heroine in the award winning and best selling books "Everything on a Waffle" and its sequel "One Year in Coal Harbour".

Nautical Breakfast
Enjoy a chef prepared complimentary 2 to 3 course breakfast such as Stephens Bay Dungeness Crab and Artichoke Eggs Florentine with Potato Pancakes and Fresh Berries in our Fantasia dining room. Lighter fare is also available so please let us know if you have any special dietary requests.

We offer a variety of amenities to make your oceanfront stay with us as comfortable as possible. Each room has its own private deck overlooking the bay. Cable TV, Netflix, high speed wifi, in is available in every room. We provide outdoor BBQs, complimentary kayaks are available, and more.
